Huxtaburger Is Turning Their Burgers Purple This Friday With Purpose

This Friday is #WearItPurpleDay, which is an annual celebration of LGBTIQ youth around the country. Local legends Huxtaburger are getting into the theme in a very creative way. 

The namesake cheeseburger, the Huxtaburger, will turn purple for the whole day. It’s visually appearing and $1 from every burger sold will go towards Minus18 – an organisation which supports LGBTIQ young people with free workshops, events and support. 

All stores in Melbourne will be participating, including HuxtaGo at The Glen. If you are planning a lazy Friday night, Deliveroo will bring the burgers to your door and will feature an extra donation option through the app.
