Rhiannon Fish was a fan fave on Home And Away, and while we’ve all been missing her on our Aussie screens, she has been making her mark on Hollywood.

Since leaving Summer Bay Rhiannon has wowed in the US drama series The 100 and been testing for a string of major projects.

However, it’s not all fun and games and Rhiannon recently opened up to the Sunday Telegraph about the brutal reality of Australian actors trying to take on Hollywood.

Rhiannon spoke of how Hollywood has sent some of her fellow Aussie actors into ruins, telling the publication, “I have seen LA break people.

“It is certainly not the place for everyone but I have been very lucky.”

The stress of constantly competing often takes a heavy emotional toll on talent in such areas, and the industry hasn’t always been known to help foster more positive attitudes and approaches to the process.

While we have a string of Aussie actors making it in Hollywood, like Chris and Liam Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman and the likes, there are hundreds of other Australians trying to tough it out and get their big break.

For those who don’t achieve the A-list status they’re after, many return home after years of giving up everyday life.

Despite making her mark on Hollywood one step at a time, Rhiannon still considers Home And Away the best gig she’s ever had.

he entertainment industry is a tough one to break into and isn’t always as glamorous as it’s cracked up to be.
