If you’ve been unlucky in love but are determined to take a major step forward and commit yourself to a complete stranger, then Married At First Sight is probably not for you. Most contestant are batshit crazy and ‘commitment’ is a term used very lightly on that show.
However, if you want to give it a try anyway OR are just really keen to see what it’s actually like being on that show - now is your chance!
Channel Nine has opened up applications for next season.
“Married At First Sight is searching for men and women of all ages and backgrounds who are genuinely committed to finding love,” the notice begins.
“This ground breaking social experiment uses science and psychology to help Australian singles meet their perfect partner. But there’s a catch… you won’t get to meet your future husband or wife until your wedding day!”
“This is not a competition and there is no cash prize up for grabs. Instead, you could walk away with the most valuable prize of all… true love.
"If you are genuine about finding love and can commit up to 4 months of your life to the experiment, then apply now!”
If you’re still keen, here’s the rules of entry:
1. You must be over 25 years of age on the day of application.
2. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident for at least 2 years to participate.
3. You must be single and genuinely looking for love.
4. You will be required to provide proof of identity (driver’s license or passport or extract of birth certificate).
5. Please be honest with your answers and complete the form to the best of your ability.
6. Ensure you read the terms and conditions on the application form.
7. If selected for the show you will need to be available for filming from August to December 2019.
